I’ve always found it hard to react positively when something I’ve been working on doesn’t turn out the way I wanted. It usually helps to remember that dissatisfaction with output; whether creative or other, generally means your current vision outstrips your current ability. That is not a bad thing, skills can be practised and honed whereas vision can be harder to expand. As usual, it just comes down to giving yourself enough time to be and do what you dream.
